From 2 May 2017, all VAT registered companies and individuals are obliged to submit their VAT returns electronically through TAXISNET. A separate registration is required as the TAXISNET for submission of direct taxation forms (i.e. IR4 and IR1) cannot be used for submission of the VAT returns
